Case Manager Job Description

Description

We are looking for a Case Manager that will be the liaison between our firm and its current
clients. The successful candidate will be able to understand the client’s case while maintaining
the client satisfaction with our firm.

Responsibilities

  • Responding efficiently and accurately to all clients
  • Review the case with clients and understand all details
  • Document case details accurately in MyCase
  • Confirming or clarifying information and diffusing angry clients, as needed
  • Maintain trust with clients through open and interactive communication
  • Speaking to clients regarding case status at-least every other week
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
  • Take the extra mile to engage clients
  • Reviewing and ordering medical records and police reports
  • Preparing medical chronologies
  • Preparing and drafting demand letter
  • Opening and organizing files
  • Handling any other assignments as needed

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Active listening
  • Verbal and written communication skills
  • Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Proficiency with computers and strong typing skills
  • Proficient in English
  • Ability to ask prying questions and diffuse tense situations
